Membership
The Chamber of Commerce is an organization of businesses and individuals from the Falls City area committed to working together for the benefit of all. Investment in the Chamber is open to anyone interested in furthering the development of Falls City. Membership is according to business classification, or as an individual as outlined in the Chamber By-Laws.
The Chamber government and policy making responsibility is under the direction of a 15 member Board of Directors and the past president. These directors are elected by membership through a ten-candidate ballot mailed before November 15th of each year. Terms are three years with five new board representation elected each year. The Board members meet once a month. This meeting date is published and open to public attendance. The Chamber employs one full-time manager.
The Program of Work and activities of the Chamber are dependent upon volunteers. Committees are formed with committee chairs and members willing to complete events or projects of the Chamber.

- Profiling Chamber member businesses through our Newsletter, in the annual membership directory, and the Chamber web-site which includes a free link to members home pages.
- Member recognition at various community events such as the Chamber’s Annual Meeting, Cobblestone Festival, Farmer-Customer Appreciation Banquet, etc.
- Chamber Hot Line services informing of bad checks, counterfeiting, etc.
- Chamber’s postage permit and instruction available to Chamber members wishing to conduct bulk mailing projects.
- Sale of “Chamber Bucks” which can be redeemed only in Chamber member businesses.
- The Falls City Area Chamber of Commerce supports its members and businesses in every way possible, always open to new ideas and suggestions.
